3. Working Principle

Under cold state, the workpiece is clamped between two or three precision rolling dies. The dies rotate synchronously and apply radial pressure, making the metal produce plastic deformation to form threads. It supports two main processes:

• In-feed Rolling: For short threads, fixed-length forming.

• Through-feed Rolling: For long threads/rods, continuous rolling with unlimited length.
